Imagine owning one of these properties like the ones above. The Greek Island of Alonissos can be reached by flights to the neighbouring island of Skiathos from which there are frequent hydrofoil and ferry links to Alonissos. From the Greek mainland there are similar services from the port of Agios Constantinos (2 hours north east of Athens) or from the northern cities of Volos and Thessaloniki.
The Greek Island Alonissos is dedicated as Greece’s only environmental marine park because of the resident colony of monk seals. The protection of these amazing creatures means that water sport activities and large scale fishing in offshore waters are prohibited. As a result, the waters are spectacularly peaceful, clear and clean. We have often seen huge seals basking in the shallow waters beneath Villa Nissi early in the morning. Dolphins are very evident too, pods will often race alongside any form of watercraft or be spotted from the terraces of the villa.
Fishing is still a main form of employment on the island and wonderful catches are landed daily, you can select your fish as it is brought ashore at The Fanari taverna in Steni Vala or the harborside taverns at Kalamakia and be savoring a delicious meal within the hour.
Another of this island’s unique attractions is the world renowned Holistic and Homeopathic Learning Centre which is situated on the road between Patitiri and Villa Nissi.
As a well laid out house of around 170 sqm Villa Nissi has a large open plan kitchen and dining area linked by an arch to the entrance hall, living room and cloakroom. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, fridge freezer and washing machine. The large sea facing living area leads to a shaded porch with seating and beautiful views out to the Aegean and offers many options for relaxing and socialising. The first floor provide 3 double bedrooms all with attractive sea views to Steni Vala and linked access to the sun terrace and balcony. Overall this Villa in Greece offers comfortable private accommodation for everyone.
